After going through a successful rebrand several years ago, and recently partnering with ESPN, UFC was ready to refresh its broadcast graphics package. The goal was to focus on product differentiation, innovation, storytelling, and consistency. The foundation that UFC was built on was strong and didn’t need a revolution but, instead just an evolution.
Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission (LASEC) is the nonprofit organization officially designated to attract, secure and support high-profile sports and entertainment events in Los Angeles. Part of supporting high-profile events is creating Committees that liaison between these events and the city of Los Angeles and the various venues and businesses in the region. The ask was to create an identity that captures the spirit of Los Angeles and is adaptable for future events.
League of Legends is a competitive online strategy game that is played by millions of people all over the world. In North America, the top-level professional series is called the League Champions Series, LCS, and is broadcast on Twitch and ESPN+. LCS recently went through a rebrand and needed to update the broadcast graphic package to align with the rebrand. The goal for the project was to create an insert system that would be clear and easy enough to read regardless of whether the viewer was watching on a cell phone or a television.
